Abu Dharr reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
You would soon conquer Egypt and that is a land which is known (as the land of al-qirat). So when you conquer it, treat its inhabitants well. For there lies upon you the responsibility because of blood-tie or relationship of marriage (with them). And when you see two persons falling into dispute amongst themselves for the space of a brick, than get out of that. He (Abu Dharr) said: I saw Abd al-Rahman b. Shurahbil b. Hasana and his brother Rabi’a disputing with one another for the space of a brick. So I left that (land). – Saheeh Muslim, Book 31, Hadith #6174.

Two months ago, in November of 2014 we received our highest amount of page views in the three years that the site has been operational. That was in large part due to a paper on Qur’anic manuscripts. That momentum was cut short when the site was taken offline for upgrades mid-way through December 2014.
Today though, we’re proud to announce that we’ve surpassed the amount of page views we received in November of 2014, which makes this month, January 2015 the month in which we’ve received the greatest number of views that we’ve ever had.
The month’s not over, so we’re still expecting tons of more views and visits to the site. All this being accomplished without another publication being done. Thank you for your support!

Interested in academically and intellectually defending Islam from criticism? That’s a field of study known as “Islamic Apologetics”! It’s different from da’wah and it’s a field of study that requires a lot of research, study and time. If you’re interested and want to know more, click on the “Apologetics” link and let us know what you think.

As Salaamu ‘Alaykum,
If you’re reading this, it means the Calling Christians website is back online! A few things to note:
and Allah knows best.
There’s an easy way to convincing Christians that Christmas is a pagan tradition. Just ask any Christian, does the New Testament mention that Christ, his disciples or any of the apostles celebrating Christ’s birthday? It doesn’t. That’s for a good reason, they didn’t. Ask the Christian, are you a Biblical Christian, because if you were, you’d follow the Bible, and if the Bible says nothing of this holiday or celebration, why do you celebrate it? I’ve created this lovely image to share for those willing to initiate that tough conversation with their friends and family members. It’s non-confrontational, relies on the Bible for evidence, refers to a pillar of the early Church and simply asks a question. It doesn’t insult Christians, doesn’t demonize the holiday, it’s just a polite question about the validity of this holiday in light of scripture!
So, are you a Biblical Christian, or not? Let us know in the comments or on our Facebook Page!

In the recent Veritas Apologetics Conference in which Smith wore the title of a Professor, despite having no such credentials or job title to support it, he presented a paper entitled, “A Critical look at the Newest Historical Research on Islam and the Earliest Qur’anic Manuscripts“.
What’s the keyword here? “Newest”. Which is a problem, since Smith’s paper opens with four references from 1977, 1985, 1991 and 1996. Can someone help me understand what the word newest means in light of his references? I’d greatly appreciate it. Maybe I just don’t see the connection between 1977 and “newest”….
I might make a meme out of this and title it Scholar Smith: Presents Newest Research in 2014, FROM 1977.

Over the next few weeks, the site will undergo some major changes. This means that it’ll occasionally become inaccessible or that pages and posts might disappear and reappear while new pages and posts will appear. Categories might be removed, some added. More importantly, a good amount of new content inclusive of downloadable pamphlets in English and other languages will be made available. Videos, and more articles will also be made available.
A lot of the old content may not make the cut as the site seeks to go above and beyond the negative personalities we have found ourselves in unnecessary back and forths with. Please be patient as the site continues to grow and expand. Thank you for your support. If you’d like to donate to the site’s efforts, send us a message via our Contact Us form and we’d send you the details to so.

The month of November 2014 has brought Calling Christians some great new achievements that were driven by Jay Smith’s missionary behaviour! Due to Smith’s exaggerated claims during his debate with Dr. Ally, I wrote a paper in response to him, that paper led Calling Christians to new heights:
We’d like to thank Jay Smith for leading Calling Christians to new heights, to new successes and to giving us a wider audience than we’ve ever had! More to come! Look out for posts in the next few days about Jay’s planned response to the paper, his arguments, his references and his criticisms. Unknown to him, sources close to him are embarrassed by his lack of honesty and have decided to fill us in on his plans!
and God knows best.
Two Sundays ago, prominent Muslim debaters, Br. Zakir Hussain and Br. Ayaz Uddin, met Jay Smith at Hyde Park and challenged him to two debates. Smith refused to debate on the topic whether Jesus is God or not, his reasoning as he states is that it’s clearly obvious and thus not debatable. Well, can’t Brs. Zakir and Ayaz reply the same, that the Prophet’s prophethood is obvious and thus, not debatable?
I find it very odd, that Jay Smith, religiously goes to Hyde Park to debate about Islam & Christianity, and when challenged with an actual debate, he refuses to do so. What is the point of screaming at people every Sunday, and boasting about your debate skills, if you’re refusing to debate on a stage, for a scheduled and moderated debate?
Please enable subtitles to see what each person is saying in the videos.
What is Jay afraid of? Why is he running from Muslims? Can any Christian tell us?
and God knows best!
