UPDATE: THE NEW POPE IS CARDINAL JORGE MARIO BERGOGLIO OF ARGENTINA to be known as Pope Francis/ Francesco the 1st, he is a Jesuit.

  • Bergoglio finished 2nd in the last conclave to Pope Benedict
  • He’s age 76
  • He is the 1st South American Pope
