Ustādh Ijaz Ahmad (the Trini) is available for both online and in-person events.

Islamic Events:

• Khutbahs – Depending on the state of his health (see below), Ust. Ijaz may not be able to lead the ṣalāh but will still be able to deliver the Arabic khutbah and the brief English lecture, please plan accordingly
• Lectures – A maximum duration of 2 hours (if in-person)
• Daʿwah Training – A maximum duration of 2 hours (if in-person)
• Topics – Ust. Ijaz is comfortable speaking on the preservation of the Qurʾān, the intertextuality of the Bible and the Qurʾān, scripturology, comparative theology, prophetology, Qurʾānic exegesis, and Islāmic history

For (General) Online Events:

• Ust. Ijaz is generally available between 12 noon and 10 pm EST
• Sessions can be 2 hours or more, but there must be intermissions for ṣalāh and for resting
• A recording of the event must be made available after the event

For (General) In-Person Events:

• A maximum duration of 2 hours and there must be intermissions for ṣalāh and for resting
• All travel arrangements are to be provided by the host organization (rides, tickets, etc)
• A small meal should be provided or made easily available each day of the event
• A recording of the event (of Ustādh’s participation) must be made available after the event

A Note on Ustādh’s Health:

• While all efforts will be made by Ust. Ijaz to be available for events, his health is not stable and there may be last minute cancellations, though regrettable, please plan accordingly
• For in-person events it is recommended that at least one person be made aware of Ustādh’s medication and its location on his person

Honorarium: 

• While not necessary, it is recommended that Ustādh be compensated on a per hour basis (including travel time) at a rate above minimum wage
